Katango ---> Google

Katango was a Kleiner Perkins startup whose goal was to develop social media applications harnessing machine learning and artificial intelligence. The founders were Yoav Shoham, professor of computer science at Stanford and two of his PhD students, Thuc Vu and Michael Munie. I was VP of user experience. Part of my role was to develop interactive prototypes of product concepts,  In 2011, Katango was acquired by Google. At Google I developed prototypes for "live conversation spaces", gestural interaction with wall sized displays, annotating  and sharing knowledge of Youtube videos, methods of automatic real-time editing of live video sports events.  I retired from Google in 2014.
